Carefx Corporation Announces New Chief Executive Officer

SCOTTSDALE, Arizona - May 25, 2005. Carefx Corporation, the leading provider in healthcare clinical context management and web integration software, today announced that Andrew J. Hurd has joined the Company as Chief Executive Officer.

Prior to Carefx, Mr. Hurd served as Sr. Vice President, Sales and Marketing of the Practice Services Division of WebMD Corp (HLTH). Before WebMD, he was President, Health Information Management at QuadraMed Corporation (QMDC). Hurd brings 18 years of healthcare and healthcare IT management experience, with a stellar track record in aggressive top and bottom line growth, organizational transformation and operational efficiencies.
