Oscar Diaz, a visionary and pioneer in Healthcare Information Technology (HIT), is the Founder and Chief Software Architect at Carefx. In his role as CSA, Mr. Diaz is responsible for technology strategy, enterprise architecture, technology planning, and innovation. His efforts have resulted in an enterprise architecture that reduces IT complexity and costs, improves alignment between IT and clinicians, and drives strategy — enabling business growth for provider organizations. While directing development of the company's next-generation software services platform, Mr. Diaz continues to build strategic partnerships with key stakeholders and innovators in healthcare information technology.

Prior to founding Carefx, Mr. Diaz was responsible for the successful formation and build-out of Emtek, a provider of point-of-care clinical information software (subsequently acquired by Motorola, then Eclipsys Corporation). His nearly four decades of experience in the industry has also included executive-level positions at Baptist Healthcare, EMTEK, Eclipsys, Medspecialists, and cMore Medical Solutions.
